Whilst in South Africa in 2005 I visited a shop selling paper made from elephant poo. I just had to buy some.
Onour last day in the Kruger I was lucky enough to get some wonderful pictures of elephants right outside our hotel. A drongo sitting on a nearby branch gave such a contrast in size and I just had to paint the elephant and the drongo together, on the elephant poo paper. It has such great texture though not entirely made from elephant poo unless the elephant was keen on reading newspapers too!
