Clouded Forest
Clouded leopards are native to Borneo, however they are so secretive that the chances of seeing one in the wild are somewhere between slim and none.
I was lucky enough to visit Borneo a couple of years ago and saw some wonderful orang-utan at Sepilok, but of course no clouded leopard anywhere. However
having been able to see one in captivity at Santago private leopard reserve, it seemed a good idea to paint Harry back into his natural environment - the background being
a waterfall in Borneo. Maybe Harry will never see his native land, but somehow I feel I have done my best to put him back there.
This picture is in Chromacolor which is a resin based paint, much like acrylic.
